Monday


It is warmer today than what the weekend was, about 15 F.  The skies are clear with no clouds in the sky for now because of a high pressure system is moving into the area.  There is a slight wind coming from the NW which is bringing in some cooler air from the north.  Tomorrow should be a little warmer than today with some clouds moving in and maybe a small chance of snow could occur.

It is cooler than yesterday with the temperature around 10 F and wind chill around 0 F.  Slight winds are coming from the NW which is bring colder air into the region.  The sky is mostly clear with a few patches of altocumulus clouds, about 20% cloud cover.  Weather conditions should be about the same throughout the day and should get fairly cold during the night.  Tomorrow may be a little warmer with an increase of clouds, but the temperature should not change too much and with more clouds there could be a chance of some snow flurries.

It is about the same weather conditions as yesterday, temperature is around 20 F.  There is a slight wind coming from the North and will bring in a little cooler air.  It is mostly cloudy in area, about 80% cloud coverage and should increase throughout the day.  Tomorrow will be about the same conditions, maybe a little cooler as the wind continues to come from the North.  More clouds should move into the area and might bring the chance of some snowfall late in the afternoon tomorrow.

It is a little warmer today around 28 F, but with wind chill it is about 20 F.  There is a very slight wind coming from the South and should get a little higher throughout the day.  The sky is covered will low stratus clouds about 90% cloud cover and there could be a chance of snow later in the day because of a low pressure system moving into the area.  Tomorrow should be about the same with a little cooler temperatures as some of the clouds move out of the region.

The snow system has finally moved out of the area and the temperature is about the same as yesterday, around 15 F.  There is a very slight wind coming from the SE and is not having a major effect on the current weather conditions.  The sky is mostly clear with the clouds being in the South, about 5% total cloud cover in the area which will contribute to cooler temperatures throughout the day.  Tomorrow should be a little warmer with more clouds coming in and the wind will be a littler higher, there could also be a chance of precipitation late in the afternoon tomorrow.  current color enhanced goes east infrared image

North Central US Current Weather

The snow continues to fall in the area with a temperature around 10 F.  There is a moderate wind coming from the East and it is also 100% cloud cover.  It should be about the same all day long with some flurries throughout the day and some wind that will cause drifting in some areas.  Tomorrow should be about the same temperature, maybe a little cooler because some clouds will move out of the region.

It is much cooler than yesterday was, about 15 F.  There is a fast wind coming from the West and should continue to be windy until later today because of a low pressure system that moved through the area.  Skies are clear right now with 0% cloud cover.  Tomorrow should be about the same conditions with more clouds moving in and also it will not be as windy as today.

North Central US Current Weather

It is currently foggy out and 100% cloud cover in the area and also some light rain has been going on in the morning.  It is a little warmer than yesterday as predicted, about 40 F.  There is a slight wind coming from the SE bringing in warm air from the south.  The low clouds and fog should continue through the day, which will also bring the temperature up a little more.  Tomorrow will be colder and mostly cloudy because of a low pressure system moving into the area, also expect it to be more windy.

It is about the same temperature as yesterday, around 35 F and should warm up during the day with more clouds coming into the area.  There is a slight wind coming from the South that continues to bring warm air.  There is about 60% cloud cover with most of the clouds being low coming from the South and to the North it is mostly clear with a few high clouds.  The low clouds from the South should warm up the temperature a little bit.  Tomorrow should be warmer because of the wind coming from the South and there will be more cloud cover in the area.

Today is about the same as yesterday with the temperature around 35 F.  There is a moderate wind coming from the South and is continuing to bring warm air into the region.  It is mostly cloudy with some clear patches, about 80% cloud cover and will help to warm up the temperature with a chance of precipitation later on in the day.  Tomorrow should be a little warmer and mostly cloudy throughout the day.

It has cooled down a little bit from the weekend as predicted because of the clouds moving out of the area.  The temperature right now is about 30 F and should get a little warmer later on in the day.  There are quite a few clouds out right now, about 50% cloud cover and they should clear out later in the day because it looks a little clearer to the SW.  There is a slight wind coming from the SW and might become stronger later through the day.  Tomorrow will be about the same temperature, but more clouds will move in and it will also be more windy during the day.

Today is getting a little warmer than yesterday, around 8 F.  The wind is coming from the SW at about 10 mph and should continue to bring in warm air through the weekend.  More clouds have came into the area, about 70% cloud coverage as predicted and is also contributing to the warmer temperature that should continue through the weekend.  The weekend should get warmer with clouds coming in and the wind continuing to come from the SW, there might also be a chance for some snow flurries during the weekend but will not accumulate much, if at all.

It is finally starting to warm up a little bit instead of the negative temperatures it is getting above zero, around 5 F.  The wind is slightly coming from the SW and will help continue warm up the temperature.  It is still mostly sunny with some clouds starting to move into the area, about 10% cloud cover and there is a small chance of some snow flurries to occur later during the day.  Tomorrow will be warmer than today with the wind continuing to come from the SW and also with more cloud coverage and a chance of snow flurries.

It is another chilly day with the temperature around -5 F about the same as yesterday and should warm up a little bit later in the day.  There is a slight wind coming from SW which should hopefully warm up the temperature tomorrow so it is not so cold out.  The cloud cover is very low around 0-5% and should be sunny for most of the day.  Tomorrow will be about the same weather with some clouds moving in and the temperature should rise and be above 0 F.

Today is much colder than yesterday with a temperature around -5 F.  There is a slight wind coming from the West which should hopefully help warm up the temperature a little bit later on in the week.  There are very few clouds in the are also contributing to the cold temperature with close to 0% cloud cover in the area.  Tomorrow should be about the same with a little rise in temperature, but still very cold outside.

It is fairly warm out for February, about 30 F and there is a slight wind coming from the NE.  There is also a lot of cloud cover, almost 100%.  It should be warm throughout most of the day and cooling down at night.  Tomorrow will be colder with the wind coming mostly from the North and with a little less cloud coverage.

It is a little warmer than yesterday, around 15 degrees F.  More clouds have moved in causing the temperature to rise a little bit, there is about 50% cloud coverage over Eau Claire.  There is a strong wind coming from the Southwest which is also why it is warmer because the air is warmer instead of the cold air that was coming from the North earlier in the week.  Tomorrow will be even warmer than today with more clouds coming in and a chance of snow during the day.

Groundhog Day

I have never been a fan of Groundhog Day because living in Minnesota and Wisconsin spring can never come early enough and this year is no different.  It is very cold out, around 3 degrees F with a moderate wind from the North.  The skies are mostly clear with some high clouds to the North and most of the clouds are off to the South, cloud cover is about 5%.  It is going to be sunny and very cold all day and tomorrow should still be cold with a little more clouds moving in.

North Central US Current WeatherThe snow system passed through the area late last night.  Today is more sunny and has less cloud cover than yesterday.  The North is mostly clear skies, while to the South it is very cloudy.  The overall cloud cover over Eau Claire is about 30% and should be mostly sunny all day long.  There is a slight wind coming from the North ranging from 0-5 mph and the temperature is fairly chilly around 10 degrees F.  Tomorrow should feel the same as today with not too much change to cloud cover or temperature.
